Hayley and Nick Fenn opted for a new fitted layout, when they were looking for a country-style kitchen that was traditional and timeless in appearance.

Since this is a lower ground floor kitchen, they chose colours and paintwork that reflected the available light and contributed to that timeless look. For the worktops, Hayley selected our Nero Corallo recycled glass material, which was mounted on waterproof construction board and finished with seamless deep edges.

The cabinet doors and drawer fronts were all in a paintable timbergrain, overcoated with an off-white Old Lace paint finish. Timber flooring planks soften the visual effect and add a traditional design note.

In addition to an American-type fridge freezer, a new Franke sink and tap assembly, built-in cooker and hob, and Bosch dishwasher were installed, in a convenient galley-style kitchen layout.

“The look I was going for was contemporary New England and I think we achieved,” says Hayley. So do we.
